§ 30.01 QUALIFICATIONS.
   No person shall be eligible for the Office of Mayor unless such person be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the town or area which has been annexed by the town for a period of two years next preceding his or her election. He or she shall reside in the town during his or her term of office.
