(A) Parking on Ellery Avenue. It shall be unlawful for the owner or operator of any bus, tractor or trailer, truck exceeding one ton gross vehicle weight, motor home or fifth wheeler to park, or permit the same to be parked, on Ellery Avenue between Second Street and Seventh Street for longer than one hour. On that part of Ellery Avenue not described herein, all vehicles, motor or otherwise, shall be parked on the driver’s right-hand side of Ellery Avenue, lateral thereto and at a distance of not more than 18 inches distant from the sidewalk, curb or side street and so as to allow a vacant space of not less than three feet both to the front and rear of the said vehicle.

(B) On all streets and avenues within in the town, other than the 370 feet of Western Avenue immediately south of the intersection of West Seventh Street and South Western Avenue, all vehicles, motor or otherwise shall be parked on the driver’s right-hand side of the street or avenue, lateral thereto and at a distance of not more than 18 inches distant from the sidewalk, curb or side street and so as to allow a vacant space of not less than three feet both to the front and rear of the said vehicle. On that part of Western Avenue described herein, all operators of vehicles, motor or otherwise, desiring to park the same shall park their vehicles on the right-hand side of said avenue so that no part thereof extends outside the parking guideline and with the inside front wheel against the curb.

(C) No vehicle, motor or otherwise, shall be parked at ant time in any alley within the town for more than 30 minutes unless special permission has been first obtained from the town’s Police Department to do so.

(D) Every person violating the provisions of this schedule shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as follows:
(1) Upon a first offense, by a fine of not more than $100;
(2) Upon a second offense, by a fine of not more than $200; and
(3) Upon a third or subsequent offense, by a fine of not more than $300.
