§ 33.05  DEPARTMENT POLICIES; ASSIGNMENT OF DUTIES.
   (A)   For all matters pertaining to the government of the Police Department not provided for by law or by this code, the Chief of Police shall recommend to the Manager, for the approval of the Board, Police Department policies. The Chief of Police shall promulgate and enforce policies within the Police Department.

   (B)   The Chief of Police shall assign the duties of police officers and shall see that they faithfully perform their duties.
