The present and future members of the Police Department, including auxiliary police officers, are hereby authorized to act as agents for property owners and tenants to enforce regulations against trespassing on private property located within the corporate limits of the town upon specific request by property owners or tenants, in accordance with the terms of the agency agreement attached to the ordinance from which this section is derived. A copy of the agency agreement is on file in the office of the Town Clerk.
