It shall be the policy of the municipal government to foster, maintain and promote equal employment opportunities. The town will select employees on the basis of individual ability and qualifications for a given position. Equal treatment shall be accorded each employee concerning compensation, promotion, advancement and training without regard for sex, race, age, color, religion or place of national origin.
