§ 94.24  KEEPING OF VICIOUS AND DANGEROUS ANIMALS.
   (A)   No person shall possess or harbor any non-domestic animal which is dangerous to persons or property or which has the potential of being dangerous to persons or property.
   (B)   No owner shall keep any vicious dog or other animal within the town. It shall be unlawful for any person to appear on a public street or sidewalk in the town with a vicious dog, whether or not the dog is on a leash, in a manner calculated to inspire terror among citizens and/or visitors of the town.
   (C)   Any vicious/public nuisance animal without any recognizable identification may be destroyed after the Robeson County Health Department Animal Control Officer has been unsuccessful in his or her attempt to catch, trap or tranquilize (within an enclosed area) the animal. Any dog or cat left at the animal shelter may be impounded or euthanized at the discretion of the Animal Control Officer.
