The first Authority Board shall be comprised of the current members of the Fairmont Airport Authority who shall be considered nine representatives of the City and one member to be appointed by the Commission. Such members shall serve a term of one year only, but shall be eligible for reappointments. After the initial term, the City shall appoint nine members and the Commission shall appoint one member each who shall serve terms of three years. Subsequent to the Authority's formation, the Authority may permit any other municipality or county qualifying, pursuant to West Virginia Code 8-29-1, to participate in the affairs of the Authority, to appoint members of the Authority in the same manner as set forth herein, and to have such vote or votes beginning as of the next ensuing fiscal year, as prescribed by law.
