Pursuant to the provisions of West Virginia Code 8-27-5, the management and control of such Authority, its operations, business and affairs shall be lodged in a Board consisting of five members, to be known as Members of the Fairmont-Marion Transit Authority Board, and who shall be appointed for three year terms by the governing bodies of the participating governments. The members shall be appointed as follows:
(a) By the County Court of Marion County:
(1) One member for an initial one-year term, and for the three year term thereafter upon the expiration of such initial one year term.
(2) One member for an initial three-year term, and for the three-year term thereafter, upon the expiration of such initial three-year term.
(b) By Fairmont Council:
(1) One member for an initial one-year term, and for the three-year term thereafter upon the expiration of such initial one-year term.
(2) One member for an initial three-year term, and for the three-year term thereafter upon the expiration of such initial three-year term.
(c) Jointly by the County Court of Marion County and Fairmont Council:
(1) One member for an initial two-year term, and for the three-year term thereafter upon the expiration of such initial two-year term.
