The City of Fairmont Urban Renewal Authority, a public body, corporate and politic, as created by the provisions of West Virginia Code §16-18-1 et seq., hereinafter Urban Renewal Authority shall be and is authorized and empowered by the Council for the City of Fairmont to transact business and exercise all and any of the powers, functions and duties of such authority as provided by West Virginia Code §16-18-1 et seq., and shall have and exercise all and any of the powers and authority granted to it or as may be conferred upon it by any other State law or federal law; provided, the Authority is subject to all the requirements, restrictions and limitations contained in West Virginia Code 16-18-1 et seq., as the same may be hereafter enacted or amended.
