131.03 DUTY TO RESPOND TO FIRE ALARMS AND ASSIST FIRE DEPARTMENT.

It is hereby made the special duty of the Chief of Police, upon request by the Chief of the Fire Department, to designate police officers to respond to all fire alarms and assist the Fire Department in the protection of life and property of the residents, and property of the Fire Department, and in controlling and regulating traffic and maintaining order.
