A person or group of persons who believe that they have been discriminated against may contact the Affirmative Action Officer. The Affirmative Action Officer shall provide assistance to any complainant. The Affirmative Action Officer shall have immediate and direct contact with department heads and City officials.
The Affirmative Action Officer shall notify the State of all such complaints and local actions taken to resolve any allegations.

It is the responsibility of the Affirmative Action Officer to publicize the complaint procedure, emphasizing confidentiality and protection under the Reprisal Act.
