(a) Resident Fee. Any person who resides within the corporate limits of the City of Fairmont who requests fingerprinting assistance for employment or other similar purposes from the City of Fairmont Police Department shall be charged a fingerprinting service fee of five dollars ($5.00) per set of fingerprints, or any portion thereof, provided however, that such fee shall not be charged any such person who is an applicant for employment with the City of Fairmont.
(b) Nonresident Fee. Any person who does not reside within the corporate limits of the City of Fairmont who requests fingerprinting assistance for employment or other similar purposes from the City of Fairmont Police Department shall be charged a fingerprinting service fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per set of fingerprints, or any portion thereof, provided however, that such fee shall not be charged any such person who is an applicant for employment with the City of Fairmont. For purposes of the nonresident fee, if any form of identification presented to said Police Department shall contain or list an address located outside the corporate limits, it shall be prima facie evidence of such person’s nonresidency.
