1766.03 REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADING PERMIT.
   Any person desiring a grading permit shall submit the following information in relation to the real property upon which any grading, stripping, cutting or filling is proposed to be done:
   (a)   A plat or boundary line survey of the entire site on which the grading, stripping, cutting or filling is to be done. The Building Inspector can waive the requirement for a plat or boundary line survey if the scope of the work is of a minor nature;
   (b)   Identification of ownership of the site property together with supporting documentation;
   (c)   The location of the site property by identifying the address of the site property and the Marion County Tax Map and Parcel Number of the site property and the taxing district in which it is located;
   (d)   The purpose for which the proposed grading, stripping, cutting or filling is to be done;
   (e)   The planned or potential future use of the property;
   (f)   Description of existing features situate on the site property or surrounding the site, including the location and description of existing man-made features;
   (g)   A description of the proposed development or work to be performed, including the location and description of future man-made features;
   (h)   A time frame schedule indicating the anticipated starting and completion dates of the proposed development sequence and the time of exposure of each area;
   (i)   An erosion and sediment control plan; and
   (j)   If fill work is to be done, a list of all materials to be deposited in, on or about the site property and which will be utilized in the performance of the work;
   (k)   Any other information or documentation deemed necessary by the Building Inspector.
   The applications for grading permits shall be made in writing upon the form provided by the Building Inspection Office and shall be verified and signed by the applicant and further signed by the owner of the site and the contractor proposing to do the work, if any.
   The application for a grading permit must be submitted to the Building Inspection Office at least ten working days prior to the proposed start date.
