(a) Section 101.1 Title: City of Fairmont, West Virginia.
(1) Section 108.2:
A. Fee schedule: The following fee schedule is established and adopted for plan examinations, inspections, buildings permits for construction projects and permits for demolition projects:
1. | New Buildings | $20.00 per thousand dollars or any portion thereof $60.00 minimum. |
2. | Additions and alterations and fences | $20.00 per thousand dollars or any portion thereof $60.00 minimum. |
3. | Swimming pools | $20.00 per thousand dollars or any portion thereof $60.00 minimum. |
4. | Demolition/razing structures | $20.00 per thousand dollars or any portion thereof; $25.00 minimum, not to exceed $50.00 for any residential building/structure. |
5. | Re-inspection | $30.00 |
6. | Requested inspections (Existing buildings) | $60.00 per hour with a $60.00 minimum |
7. | Electrical | $20.00 per thousand dollars or any portion thereof. $100.00 minimum. |
8. | Plumbing, mechanical, and air conditioning | $20.00 per thousand dollars or any portion thereof. $60.00 minimum. |
B. Maximum Permit Fee: Permit fees for a building permit application shall not exceed $100,000.00.
C. In the event any work, for which a permit is required, is commenced prior to obtaining such permit, the specified fee shall be tripled. Further, the payment of any and all permit fees shall not relieve any person from complying with all applicable standards and requirements as set out and as published by the International Code Council and American Standards Institute which have been adopted by the City of Fairmont and all Zoning Code requirements.
