826.01   DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning:
   (a)   “Late Night Retail Establishment.” Any person, partnership, corporation or other entity who or which:
      (1)   Derives fifty percent or more of its gross income from the sale of goods, merchandise or other articles of value; and
      (2)   Sells goods, merchandise or other articles of value in their original containers between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
   (b)   “Late Night Gasoline Station.” Any person, partnership, corporation or other entity who or which sells gasoline or other petroleum fuel to the public between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m.
   (c)   “Pay Drawer and/or Merchandise Drawer.” A through-the-wall bullet-resistant security transaction drawer or opening in an exterior wall of a building approved by the Police Division which allows a retail establishment to transact business from the establishment's building without direct customer contact. Such pay and/or merchandise drawer(s) must be maintained in proper working order at all times.
   (d)   “Pay Booth.” A structure within an establishment or gas station constructed of windows, walls and doors as approved by the Police Division. Such pay booths and required equipment must be maintained in good working order at all times. Each pay booth must conform to the security requirements set forth by the Police Division.
   (e)   “Video Monitoring and Recording System.” An on-site video security camera of a type or number approved by the Police Division. Such camera(s) must be capable of immediately producing a retrievable image on film or tape that can be made a permanent record and that can be enlarged through projection or other means. Such video monitoring systems must be maintained in proper working order at all times.
