648.10   MINOR'S CURFEW.
   (a)   No minor under the age of sixteen years shall be on the streets, sidewalks or other public places of the City between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. of the following day and no minor between the ages of sixteen and eighteen years shall be on the streets, sidewalks or other public places of the City between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. except when such minor is accompanied by his parent, guardian, legal custodian or other adult person having the permission of such parent, guardian or legal custodian. However, a minor attending a school-sponsored and supervised recreation event or entertainment shall be permitted an additional hour after the close of such recreation event or entertainment to reach his home.
   (b)   No parent, guardian or legal custodian having the care, custody and control of a minor shall permit such minor to violate subsection (a) hereof.
   (c)   No adult person shall be in the company of any minor on the streets, sidewalks or other public places of the City contrary to subsection (a) hereof.

   (d)   Whoever, being a parent, guardian or legal custodian, violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 698.02.
   (e)   Minors violating any of the provisions of this section shall be dealt with in accordance with Juvenile Court Law and Procedure.
