(a) In addition to the requirements set forth in the Fairlawn City Charter:
(1) A candidate for the position of Ward Councilperson shall be a qualified elector and continuous resident of the Ward for which the candidacy is sought for at least six (6) months prior to the date of the election and/or appointment for said position.
(2) An individual elected or appointed to the position of Ward Councilperson shall continuously be a qualified elector and resident of the Ward to which he or she was elected or appointed during the term of his or her office.
(3) An individual elected or appointed to the position of Councilperson at Large shall continuously be a qualified elector and resident of the City of Fairlawn during the term of his or her office.
