(a) It shall be the duty the Commissioner of Zoning, Housing and Residential Chief Building Official or his designee to enforce the provisions of Part Fourteen – Building Code. The Commissioner of Zoning, Housing and Residential Chief Building Official or his designee is authorized and directed to issue permits required herein; to conduct such investigations and inquiries of all work performed or required to be performed herein; to issue stop work orders for non-compliance; to access administrative penalties and to issue citations to Mayor's Court as hereinafter provided.
