(a) The Commission shall provide rules for the retention and disposal of City records. The Commission shall review and approve all applications for one-time disposal of obsolete City records and all schedules for the retention and disposal of City records for all of the City’s offices, departments, divisions, boards and commissions prior to the submission of such applications and schedules to the Ohio Historical Society and Auditor of State for their approval. The Commission may review and revise any previously approved schedule and may dispose or cause to be disposed of City records pursuant to the procedure outlined in Ohio R.C. 149.381.
