282.11 CONTRACT LIMITS.

No contract of the City in excess of one thousand dollars ($1,000) shall be awarded except on prior approval of the Board of Audit and Review. However, if such Board disapproves the awarding of any contract, the same may nevertheless be awarded upon its approval by the affirmative vote of the majority of the duly elected or appointed members of Council.
