283.05 DUTIES OF THE BOARD.

The Board shall perform and be responsible for the following duties:

(a) Within a reasonable time after the appointment of the Board, the secretary of the Board shall call a meeting of the Board to adopt rules of procedures for all regular and special meetings to fulfill the duties pursuant to this chapter.

(b) The Board shall hear appeals of the decision of the Service Director as provided in Section 678.06.
