1602.04 FIRE LANES.
   (a)   There shall be adequate means of ingress and egress for the building or premises maintained at all times.
   (b)   When fire lanes are included in parking facilities the access shall be maintained opened at all times.
   (c)   Posted fire lanes shall be determined by the Director of Public Safety and shall be the responsibility of the owner or occupant as determined by Chapter 454 of the Traffic Code.
   (d)   Fire lanes shall be a minimum of eighteen (18) feet in width with adequate turn-around for fire equipment as determined by the City Engineer.
   (e)   Cul-de-sacs shall be without a center island and shall be a minimum of fifty-five (55) feet in diameter from curb to curb.
   (f)   Signs shall be posted as determined by the Director of Public Service and shall be faced for vision from the direction of traffic flow.
