The service of all orders mentioned in this code shall be made to the owner or occupant in writing, either by delivering the order to the occupant or owner personally or by delivering same to and leaving it with any person in charge of the premises, or in the case no person is found on the premises by affixing same to the door or in a conspicuous place and by mailing a copy to the last known address of the owner.
