SECTION 12.01.   ORGANIZATION.
   There shall be a Park and Recreation Board which shall consist of five (5) regular members and one (1) alternate member all of whom shall be electors of the Municipality not holding other office in the Municipality or employment to be appointed, for terms of five (5) years, or removed by the Mayor subject to the confirmation by the affirmative vote of a majority of the members of Council, except that of the members appointed for terms beginning January 2, 1972, one shall be appointed for a term of one year, one for a term of two (2) years, and one for a term of three (3) years, one for a term of four (4) years, and one for a term of five (5) years. Beginning January 1, 2015 the one (1) alternate member shall be appointed for a term of five (5) years. A vacancy occurring during the term of any member shall be filled for the unexpired term in the manner authorized for an original appointment.
   All meetings of the Board shall be open to the public.
