SECTION 9.01. GENERAL PROVISIONS.

The Director of Public Service shall be the head of the Department of Public Service and Council shall provide by ordinance for the organization of such Department. The Mayor shall be and perform the duties of the Director of Public Service until such time as an administrative officer is appointed pursuant to this Charter, at which time the administrative officer will assume these duties.
