Each member of Council shall have been for at least two (2) continuous years immediately prior to the date of his election or appointment, a resident and qualified elector of the Municipality. A member of Council shall not be otherwise employed by this Municipality and shall hold no other public office, except as otherwise provided in this Charter or by ordinance enacted thereunder, than that of notary public or membership in the Ohio National Guard or Reserve Corps of the United States.
