A. The Mayor shall be a qualified elector and resident in the Municipality for the last two (2) consecutive years immediately prior to the date of his election and shall continue to be a qualified elector and resident therein during the term of his office.
B. The Mayor shall hold no other elective public office, nor be otherwise employed by or hold any other public office in the Municipality except that of notary public. The Mayor shall not, directly or indirectly, solicit, contract for, receive or be interested in any profit or emolument from or on account of any contract, job, work or service arising out of his tenure of office as Mayor of the Municipality. He shall have his office in City Hall and shall devote his time and effort as he deems necessary, to properly conduct the business of the City.
