(A) Whenever service lines for gas are permanently no longer in use, the City Gas Department shall make a cut-off from the pipes at a point indicated by the Superintendent of the Gas Department.
(B) The maximum period of time to declare non-use shall be 18 months unless shortened by state or federal requirements.
