§ 32.060 VITAL RECORDS LOCAL REGISTRAR DUTIES AND FEES.
   The City Clerk, or other public officer of the city, may from time to time act as Vital Records Local Registrar or Subregistrar by appointment from the State Registrar of Vital Records and, if so appointed, shall perform those powers and duties of Vital Records Local Registrar or Subregistrar during regular business hours of the city as may be provided by the State Vital Records Act, 410 ILCS Ch. 410, Act 535, §§ 1 et seq. All fees received by the City Clerk, or other public officer of the city, for services performed in the capacity of Vital Records Local Registrar or Subregistrar shall be transmitted directly to the City Treasurer for deposit in the corporate accounts of the city and used for its general corporate purposes.
