(A) The annual salary of the Mayor is fixed as follows: beginning May 1, 2021, the salary of the Mayor shall be $50,000 per year and the Mayor shall receive an annual stipend of $1,200 for his/her work as the local Liquor Control Commission. The Mayor shall receive a monetary bonus, in an amount as determined by the City Council, at the same time as unelected employees of the city receive a monetary bonus.
(B) The position of Mayor shall be a full-time position. The Mayor shall devote the time necessary to carry out the functions of his or her position.
(C) The cost of the group health insurance for the Mayor shall be the same as for the employees of the city who do not have an elected position.
