§ 33.142 POWERS.
   In carrying out development or redevelopment within the designated business district, the Mayor and City Council shall have those powers as set forth in the Illinois Business District Development and Redevelopment Law (65 ILCS 5/11-74.3-1 et seq. as may be amended from time to time). In addition, the Mayor and City Council may exercise such other powers to facilitate development and redevelopment within the designated business district as deemed necessary.
