(A) Golf carts and utility terrain vehicles are permitted to be operated on all roadways within the city, except as set forth in division (B) of this section, but only after the owner of the golf carts and utility terrain vehicles first obtain a permit from the city and only after the golf carts and utility terrain vehicles pass an inspection as described herein and subject to the operational rules set forth in § 78.09.
(B) Golf carts and utility terrain vehicles are not permitted upon State Highway Route 15 (Main Street and Delaware Street) and U.S. Highway 45 (1st Street) except to cross in the manner set forth in ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 11-1426.1(h).
