§ 153.132 STREET IMPROVEMENTS.
   (A)   Grades of streets shall not be in excess of 6% on primary or secondary streets, nor in excess of 8% on other streets, nor have a minimum grade of less than 0.05%.
   (B)   (1)   All streets within the corporate limits or within one and one-half miles of the corporate limits of the city shall be improved by grading them to their full width (as specified below) including side slopes, and to the appropriate grade and shall be surfaced according to city specifications with one of the following alternates:
         (a)   Seven and one-half inches of compacted crushed stone or gravel with an A-3 seal;
         (b)   Six inches of compacted gravel or crushed stone base course with two inches of hot plant mix bituminous surface; or
         (c)   Six inches of portland cement concrete pavement without mesh.
      (2)   The city may specify a higher construction standard for arterial and collector streets; however, in these instances the city shall assume the difference in cost.

   (C)   Curbs and gutters on minor residential streets shall meet the specifications of the Department of Transportation-Division of Highways concerning curbs and gutters.
   (D)   Stormwater inlets shall be provided within the roadway improvement at points specified by the city.
   (E)   All curb corners shall have radii of not less than 15 feet, and at important intersections, not less than 25 feet.
