§ 117.13 DISPOSAL OF OIL WASTE AND PROCEDURE OF STREET EXCAVATIONS.
   In operating by virtue of any permit issued under this chapter, all water, salt water, oil, gas or waste produced or arising from the operations shall be piped or otherwise conveyed or removed from the corporate limits of the city except in connection with the ordinary use of a slush pit. No waste sludge or water shall be permitted to empty into any sanitary sewer or storm sewer. All excavations in, or use of the streets or alleys under these operations, shall be under the direction of the Department of Streets and Alleys of the city, and shall be done without unnecessary obstruction of the streets and without cost or expense to the city. All gas escaping from tank vents, holes or produced in operation hereunder in any way shall be burned from a pipe not less than 20 feet high from ground level or piped back into the line.
