(A) Upon satisfactory application being made and approved by the Mayor, the City Clerk shall issue a license.
(B) (1) The following schedule of fees shall apply to the licenses:
Minimum fee | $15 |
Carnivals | $2 per day |
Circuses | $2 per day |
Exhibition of inanimate objects | $2 per day |
Menageries | $2 per day |
Rides | $2 per day |
Sideshows and concessions | $2 per day |
Other public amusements or for exhibitions for which no specific fee is stated | $2 per day |
(2) No fee shall be charged for any amusement, exhibition or carnival where the same is sponsored by or given for the benefit of any religious, educational, charitable, social or fraternal organization.
(C) The following schedule of deposits shall apply to licensees:
(1) A trash deposit of $100 per exhibition or carnival, refundable upon compliance with the provisions of this chapter; and
(2) A trash deposit of $100 shall be charged for any amusement, exhibition or carnival where the same is sponsored by or given for the benefit of any religious, educational, charitable, social or fraternal organization.
