§ 92.023 ASSIGNMENT OR TRANSFER OF LOTS.
No transfer or assignment by any grantee of the city of any plot, or interest therein, shall be valid except to the city, and upon a reconveyance to the city, the city shall be the owner of the plot as though it had never been sold. The city may pay any price for reconveyance but not to exceed the consideration originally paid for the plot or the proportionate part of the consideration for any part of the plot reconveyed. However, if a grantee wishes to trade a plot that they own within the cemetery for a plot of the same size, the grantee may do so without incurring any additional charge or fee.
