§ 90.091 EXOTIC ANIMALS, BIRDS, REPTILES AND FISH.
   It shall be lawful for any person to have, keep, harbor, care for, act as custodian of, or maintain as a house pet in their possession an exotic animal, bird, reptile or fish as defined in this chapter. However, these creatures must be kept within the home or an escape-proof enclosure as defined in this chapter under humane conditions, maintaining sanitary quarters, with sufficient space and ventilation, and providing adequate nutrition, care and treatment.
