§ 90.087 BAIT SHOPS AND WORM FARMS.
   It shall be lawful for any person to engage in the business of raising, keeping, breeding, buying or selling live bait for fishing, for compensation or profit within the municipality, in an area of the city designated commercial by the City Zoning Board, after registering with the City Clerk and obtaining a permit which shall be renewed every three years. To obtain a permit the owners/operators must present a state sales tax certificate with tax number. Fish bait may include, but is not limited to, minnows, worms, night crawlers, crawfish, shrimp, crickets or other insects and the like. The shops shall be subject to all regulations of the state and shall be subject to inspection by state or local animal control wardens or the Administrator.
