1 Any person in violation is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be fined not less than $5 nor more than $200 for each offense. | ||||
2 Any vehicle in violation shall have attached thereto by any officer detecting the violation a notice of violation. If the owner or operator of the vehicle shall pay to the City Clerk $5 within 24 hours of the violation, the payments shall be full satisfaction for the violation. If payment is not made within 24 hours of the violation, then $10 shall be the penalty for the violation if paid before action is filed for penalties hereinafter provided. Failure to make payment as provided in this section shall make the owner or operator subject to the penalties set forth in the following. Any person who shall fail to make payment as provided above, and any person who aids, abets or assists therein, shall upon conviction thereof be subject to a fine of not less than $5 nor more than $10. | 1180 | 6-9-1981 | ||
