Prior to formal approval, the Superintendent of Water and Sewer may require execution and delivery of a pre-annexation agreement set forth below with respect to the property that will be serviced by the proposed water main addition:
The undersigned owners of the property previously described in this application, for themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby agree with the City of Fairfield, Illinois and its assigns, that in the event that the property previously described in this application, or any part thereof, becomes contiguous to the City of Fairfield, Illinois, then in that event, the undersigned owners, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, will immediately petition the City Council of the City of Fairfield, Illinois to annex the property previously described in this application together with the property contiguous thereto owned by the undersigned, or either of them, including all adjacent public streets, roads and highways, to the city.
