§ 54.001 ESTABLISHED.

The existing waterworks system now owned and operated by the city and the existing sewerage system now owned and operated by the city shall be included in a combined waterworks and sewerage system under the provisions of ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, Div. 11-139, and shall be operated hereafter as a combined waterworks and sewerage system under this title.
