7-3-2: PARKING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY:
   A.   Permanent Residence Prohibited: No person shall permanently reside in any travel trailer, recreational vehicle or motor home within the city limits.
   B.   Temporary Occupancy; Connection To Water And Sewer: Individuals shall be allowed to occupy a travel trailer, recreational vehicle or motor home that is located upon private property for sixty (60) days. Individuals may seek a longer period of occupation by applying for a permit from the city. However, no travel trailer, recreational vehicle or motor home shall be allowed to be connected to or use the city water or sewer systems without first obtaining a permit from the city.
   C.   Application For Connection To Water And Sewer; Fees: Individuals desiring a longer period of occupation or hookup or use of city water or sewer systems must apply for a permit. An application must be submitted with the necessary fees for the permit to the city clerk. The council shall act upon the application at the next scheduled meeting. Additionally, the council shall have the sole discretion in determining the appropriateness of issuing the permit and may set such conditions for the permit as it deems necessary. The city council shall from time to time set the fee amount for the permit.
   D.   Exceptions: This section does not apply to travel trailers, recreational vehicles or motor homes located within a motor home park, recreational vehicle park or similarly designated facilities. (Ord. 167, 8-5-1993)
