A. Encouraging Dog Or Cock Fights: It shall be unlawful for any person to participate in, or to aid or abet, any dog or cock fight within the city limits. (Ord. 5, 1-31-1916)
B. Cruelty To Animals: It shall be unlawful for any person to cruelly beat, torture, misuse, or to deprive of food and water for twelve (12) hours, or otherwise mistreat any animal or animals. (Ord. 5, 1-31-1916; amd. 2015 Code)
C. Livestock Running At Large: It shall be unlawful for any person to permit or suffer any chickens, ducks, turkeys or geese, or any other fowl owned by such person to run at large upon the streets, alleys or sidewalks of the city, or upon the private property of any person within the city limits without the consent of the owner thereof.
D. Poisoning: It shall be unlawful for any person to wilfully kill or to administer poison to any domestic animal without the consent of the owner thereof, or to expose any poisonous substance within the limits of the city with the intention that it shall be taken by any domestic animals.
