3-2-2: DEFINITIONS:
For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
ABANDONED, WRECKED AND JUNKED: With reference to vehicles, an unsightly motor vehicle which meets any one of the following qualifications:
   A. The vehicle does not carry a current valid state registration and license plate;
   B. The vehicle cannot be safely operated under its own power.
MACHINERY: All articles of industrial, farm or domestic machinery or equipment and any and all metal or wooden machinery, motors, equipment or tools.
MAJOR HOUSEHOLD FURNISHINGS AND APPLIANCES: All articles usually referred to as major household furnishings and appliances used in housekeeping, including, but not limited to: chairs, tables, davenports, beds, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, furnaces; and grease, oil and paint containers of five (5) gallon or over capacity.
MOTOR VEHICLES: Any vehicle propelled or drawn by power other than muscular power designed to travel on the ground by wheels, treads, runners, or slides and to transport person or property or pull machinery including, but not limited to: automobiles, trucks, trailers, motorcycles and tractors.
PERSON: Any individual, corporation or partnership. (Ord. 151, 9-6-1988)
