A. Declaration Of Nuisance: The city council has authority to declare any building to be a nuisance which is so dilapidated or in such condition as to be a menace to the public health or safety of persons or property; and to cause the destruction or removal of the same at the expense of the parties creating, causing, committing or maintaining the buildings or property.
B. Special Assessment: A special assessment may be levied on the land or property whereon the nuisance is situated to defray the cost or to reimburse the city for the cost of abating the same. (2015 Code)
