2-4-2: LICENSE REQUIRED; APPLICATION:
   A.   License Required: No person shall stage a special event in the city without first having obtained and paid for, and having in full force and effect, an event license therefor as provided in this chapter.
   B.   Application For License:
      1.   Every applicant for a special event license is required to submit to the city clerk a written application on a form provided by the city. The application shall include, but not be limited to:
         a.   Information regarding the nature, time and duration of the special event;
         b.   The geographic location of the special event;
         c.   The agenda or program offered;
         d.   The names and addresses of all persons and organizations sponsoring or staging the event;
         e.   Whether or not the event will require the temporary closing of public streets;
         f.   Whether or not police protection or other security is required; and
         g.   Whether or not the organizers have obtained general liability insurance naming the city as a coinsured.
      2.   Upon receipt, the city clerk shall forward the application to the mayor and city council. (Ord. 207, 6-10-2004)
