1-6-3: SUCCESSION IN OFFICE:

Upon the qualification of all elected or appointive officers, all books, papers, records, money and property of the city shall be delivered to the successor in office as provided by law. Any person failing to comply with this section shall be guilty of an offense and punishable, upon conviction thereof, as provided in section 1-4-1 of this title. (2015 Code)
