§ 3.04.010 TOWN ASSESSOR, TOWN COLLECTOR; OFFICES ABOLISHED; FUNCTIONS TRANSFERRED TO TOWN CLERK.
   The Offices of Town Assessor and Town Tax Collector are abolished as of July 1, 1962. All duties performed by the Town Assessor, other than the assessing of property in the town, and all duties performed by the town’s Tax Collector, other than the collection of ad valorem taxes on property that becomes a lien after December 28, 1969, and the collection of assessments for municipal improvements becoming due and payable on and after July 1, 1962, are transferred to and are to be performed by the Town Clerk.
