For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BUILDING. Any structure used or intended to be used for human occupancy or for business purposes, but shall not include any private garage or stable or any structure used in connection with a building which is properly numbered.
BUSINESS DISTRICT. Any block in any street in the town where a majority of the front footage of the property facing upon the street is used for business purposes.
RESIDENCE DISTRICT. Any block in any street in the town where a majority of the front footage of the property facing upon the street is used for residence purposes or consists of vacant lots.
