§ 12.48.010 DISTRIBUTION FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES PROHIBITED.
   It is unlawful for any person or any agent or employee of the person to distribute or place or cause to be distributed or placed to or among pedestrians, or in or upon or along any public street, sidewalk, square, park or other public place, or in or upon any automobile or other vehicle parked or standing upon or along any public street or place in the town, or to distribute or place or cause to be distributed or placed or thrown into or scattered into any street or public place or into or upon any private property in the town, any commercial handbill, pamphlet, circular or dodger, or any advertising sheet, matter or device designed or intended for advertising or making known in a general or promiscuous manner, any business, occupation, profession, medical treatment, medicine or the dealing or selling of any merchandise or thing whatsoever.
